Joelson Law in central London, the event includes a live interview with Dutch twins Raissa and Joyce de Haas who founded the award winning premium mixers business.Joelson Law have supported Double Dutch Drinks through crowd funding exercises and are proud to host this special event.Launched from a frustration for a bland choice of mixers and sodas, Double Dutch aimed to unite great spirits with complementary mixers that enliven and enhance. Their unique approach to this market has seen them win the Richard Branson Foodpreneur award for innovation, Best Mixer 2018 by CLASS Bar Magazine and Casual Dining Gold Awards for Innovation in 2017 and 2018.During this late afternoon event we will discover how Double Dutch have grown to where they are today: producing up to 100,000 bottles a week and expanded into 23 countries. Even more impressive given the business started as a join MA dissertation in technology entrepreneurship at University College London just three years ago.Also speaking at the event are
Tuk Tuk Chai, real Indian street tea brewed with milk. Husband and wife team Rupesh and Alex Thomas have created the first ever ready-to-drink authentic chai which brews black tea leaves, milk, optional spices and a hint of sugar. Since launching in 2017, Tuk Tuk Chai have been listed at Harvey Nichols and 110 Sainsbury’s stores nationally, were a finalist of Richard Branson’s Foodpreneur award and featured on the most recent series of Dragons’ Den where they received an investment offer from Peter Jones. However they chose to crowdfund with the need to inject more funds and completed with an impressive 200% over funding.
