International Food Tours with EP

EP’s London food tours are an efficient and interesting way for hospitality professionals to stay on top of food trends and innovation.Following a year of successful food tours in London as part of EP Taste, we are now covering Soho, Shoreditch, Fitzrovia and Covent Garden, with additional areas in the pipeline for 2016. Themes also vary, and include coffee and patisserie, single concept venues, new openings and café/casual dining concepts, and can be adapted to fit any other theme that is relevant.Food tour participants include marketers, chefs, GMs, and HR, across restaurants, contract catering and hotels. We are now branching into international tours, to highlight the most interesting of European and global trends and give wider context to what’s happening on home shores.Of course foodie meccas like Paris, Rome, New York and London will always be hubs of activity and have been destinations for the casual observer and the food fanatic for decades. You will find a broad mix of the traditional and the innovative, and the full range of quality and pricing, from the 5-star to the street food van. However, it is the fresh, more newly recognised jewels in the crown of international gastronomy that we are looking at, in order to demonstrate why they are appealing, what is the history there and ultimately why is cuisine from these areas becoming so overwhelmingly popular. Exploring new culinary corners of the globe is a trend in itself, demonstrated by hugely popular Sri Lankan, Eritrean and Polish restaurants for example. We’re currently organising tours for 2016 that cover a variety of destinations, and within each tour a wide range of experiences.Destinations include: Istanbul, New Orleans, Copenhagen, Quito, San Sebastian, Naples, Florence , Berlin, Rio de Janeiro and SydneyDestinations and itineraries can very much be tailored to requirements, and we work with our contacts and partners around the world to ensure a smooth and knowledgeable trip each time.
