...designed for informal executive learning from the best
EP has teamed up with eHotelier to launch a new initiative called the
Global Hospitality Network that is designed to provide a framework for executive learning and development through peer-to-peer groups and sessions with industrys leaders.eHotelier recently released some research that shows that the emerging talent within the
industry are seeking more informal methods of learning and development that allows them to learn from the proven and best in class. This network will host monthly session with CEOs that allows members the opportunity to meet and network with leaders they would never normally get the chance to meet. The research also showed that 85% of senior executives believe that their companies expect them to be responsible for their own development and that only 33% of the companies possessed executive programmes for senior executives. The Global Hospitality Network is designed to support all that are seeking to learn, grow and improve.
What will this involve?
- Peer-to-peer groups
- Sessions with CEOs and proven leaders
- Mentoring and coaching
- Established industry networks to support members
The world is changing at such a fast pace. So much so that there are few with all the answers, but together groups of colleagues can find new solutions for the modern world. This network allows such a framework for cross-boundary solutions and information flow. It is also the first time in history that two generations will need to work together the baby boomers and the Generations Y and Z. The network can allow for informal narrative between the generations. There is so much exceptional talent that exists within the boundaries of the industry and the aim is to support learning and development.
