Introducing The Vision to the students
Hosted at The Savoy Hotel last week, the Oxford Brookes Mentors Day was the ideal event at which to introduce The Vision to an attentive audience.Speaking before an audience of over 200, Arlene McCaffrey chaired a panel conversation with
- Tim West, Chairman, Lexington
- Vince Pearson, Chairman, Waterfall
- Jay Burgesson, Director, The London Kitchen
- Ronnie Truss, Director, Go Green Tomatoes
Addressing a number of issues including career aspirations, opportunities in the sector and the variety of exciting initiatives introduced by business leaders, the panel provided an interesting insight to the world of contract catering, foodservice and hospitality management.wSpeaking specifically on opportunities for personal and professional development, the panellists agreed that they had enjoyed success and in an innovative and exciting industry, one which is all-too-frequently overlooked by those considering a career in the wider hospitality sector.Along with the knowledge garnered from listening to such informed and intelligent observations, each student was also given a complimentary copy of The Vision and encouraged, along with their newly appointed Mentors, to read it and learn more about the businesses and opportunities available. For more information on this and any other EP events & initiatives or to purchase a copy of The Vision please contact
