Exploring new ideas at the Entrepreneurs Pitch
EP Entrepreneurs Pitch
Through the Entrpreneurs Pitch, EP introduces many entrepreneurs to leading players across the sector. By building relationships between entrepreneurs and established businesses, our aim is to bring innovative and original concepts to the marketplace that help raising the profile of the industry as a whole. Another successful Entrepreneur's Pitch was held this week at Joelson's offices where four entrepreneurs presented their exciting business to a room of industry expertsThe event kicked off with Markus Hofmann, founder of 1st Crack, a business that aims at giving customers a bespoke and personalised coffee offer through technology. The retail coffee market is fast paced and competitive and this is why companies should re-focus on the human touch around their barista's. Trained barista would guide customers and help them exploring a range of different coffee beans in order to build customised coffee blends that reflect each one's taste. In order to do so, Markus aims to open a coffee retail franchise with fast lanes / pick-up points that makes their offer personalised and yet user-friendly.The next pitch was Good Things Magazine, which aims to take readers on a journey of discovery, an inspirational adventure celebrating the love of food and the joy of cooking. Courtney Maggs-Jones, founder of Good Things, has a background in journalism and became passionate about the publishing industry through his father. Through events and content, it is a growing business targeting all those who love food.Next up was Elliot, co-founder of Oxus gin. With a passion for entrepreneurship which runs in his family, Elliot has created a bottle of gin that targets "all those young professionals that want to look like Harvey Specter from the tv series Sutis".Oxus Gin is a premium gin made from 11 botanicals with a minimalist and sleek design and they are currently looking to supply some of the top hotels, restaurants and retailers in Central London. Finally, our dragons were treated to some hot pot samples from Hi Lo, a business that makes big tasty lunch pots in order to make heathy eating easier and more attractive. Founded by Jasper Wight in 2016, Hi Lo aims at meeting the growing needs of people who want to eat better, more affordable and without compromising on taste. The Entrepreneurs Pitch supports the many new ideas coming into the sector and brings together companies and innovators.
