Would you like to hear a story about a football club that believes in gender equality, being true to its community and dreaming of better?

The story of Lewes Football Club is one that does warm the heart. Spend an afternoon in the company of the club and you will be left with a smile on your face and feeling inspired.

Why? There are many reasons but perhaps the first is that there is a group of highly able people that have come together to do something that has real meaning.

In 2010, the club became a community-owned club which is not designed to make a profit but to rather play a key role in the community

The club has close to 1500 shareholders from 28 countries that support their vision.

Clare Rafferty, one of England’s most respected players, has become a Director.

Maggie Murphy (General Manager) is a graduate from Oxford University who worked on a global platform with Amnesty International and Transparency International

Ed Ramsden (Director) is an investment manager who also teaches MBA students at Colombia University

Charlie Dobres (Director) founded one of the UK’s leading digital marketing agencies that won the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in Innovation

And the story goes on with the rest of the board...

This is anything but a normal story. It is a story that can and will inspire those that see it in action. It is a genuine family club that wants to create change for the better.

EP is proud to be working with the club to find support and partners who will help them achieve their vision and ambitions. Football is a real power for change. Sport can and does change lives so this we believe is important.

We welcome you to come and engage in this wonderful story.
