The EP Summer Party
London’s best kept “secret garden” was the venue for the EP Summer Party this week. Hosted in partnership with our friends at The Royal Foundation of St. Katherine, guests including operators and business owners from the sector along with partners, associates, colleagues and friends old & new, who enjoyed champagne, Pimms and smoked water canapés while being serenaded by a Jazz Quartet.
Founded by Queen Matilda in 1147, the venue has served as a centre for hospitality, charity, community-care and worship over the Centuries since.Originally known as St. Katharine’s by the Tower, it has subsequently housed over 2,000 people (excluding those attending this week’s party!) along with running its own courts, factories, breweries and even a prison!Last year alone the venue hosted over 750 meetings and events, of which the vast majority benefitted from subsidised Church and not-for-profit rates while over 16,000 guests availed of the bedrooms on site for personal retreats. To keep up to date on what’s going on and to know more, follow
