Ten things which raised an eyebrow this week

Following the week in which it was announced James Bond's Aston Martin from "Spectre" is to be auctioned for charity, in America the NFL has appointed its 1st full-time female coach while the residents of Bristol are being tormented by an untraceable low level hum, EP brings you a round-up of some other news stories, events and tales of the ridiculous from around the world

  1. Time to upgrade your security? Solo, starwars, princess, 123456, abc123, password, letmein and login all feature on the list of the most common/worst passwords of 2015
  2. "The latest invention: The fantastic dinosaur train ... Submarine!" In Sweden, the subtitles for a children's TV show were accidentally shown during a political debate leading to the Minister of Education's (apparent) declaration that he will "build the best sand castle in the Galaxy", while the Minister for the Environment pondered "I have 2 pairs of boots. Which ones should I take? I'm going to ask my dolls!" and the PM's sad observation "It's a shame that no kind of train can travel under water"
  3. The Australian government has been forced into an embarrassing change of position regarding the sad & untimely passing of a homosexual British man in Adelaide who fell down some stairs and cracked his head. Due to a local law which doesn't recognise same-sex marriage, bureaucrats initially listed the newly-wed's status as "unmarried" despite the fact he died on Honeymoon
  4. Evidence of life? A star named KIC8462852 has had astronomers baffled over previous months as they ponder its origin but recent research findings are leading some to think it was built by aliens
  5. Computer says no! In America, one father has written a formal letter from The Bank of DAD explaining, in great detail, why his 6 year old son's "application for an advance on his allowance" has been denied
  6. Research by insurance firm Direct Line shows that Britain's most dangerous drivers are in the South/East, while the safest places to drive are the North/East and Scotland
  7. "I probably should have told her, but..." While waiting in a car park to collect his mother one man watched as she inadvertently got into the wrong car -- Rather than make her aware of her mistake he opted instead to video the hilariously embarrassing encounter as the other driver returned to his car
  8. It's behind you! After the demotion of Pluto as a Planet, leaving only 8 in our solar system, there is growing evidence suggesting that "Planet Nine" may in fact be hiding at the far end of the Milky Way
  9. Did it walk there? Discovered by tourists walking on two legs, a "frogfish" was found in New Zealand, leaving scientists baffled as to how it got there as the creature was thousands of miles from its natural home in the subtropical waters of the Indian Pacific and Atlantic Oceans, the Caribbean or the Gulf of Mexico
  10. Who let the dogs out? In America, a would-be burglar ended up with his arm used as a chew toy by a police dog after first trying to convince officers he was the owner of the house he was robbing and then attempting (and failing) to evade capture
