Reinvention - Working with great people to find new challenges; offering something different to more of the same.

There has been much made of the fact that 41% of employees are looking for new roles as they look towards 2022. This may be true and there is certainly a wealth of great talent, at the senior level within the industry, who are seeking a career change, new roles and even new challenges after the long pandemic. However, maybe it is a natural consequence of a long 18 month period?

The pandemic has taken its toll. Many senior players feel weary and out of inspiration. It has been a constant struggle to adapt and find new solutions throughout this most difficult of times. Many make a big deal of the 41% figure but maybe it is just natural after such a battle to get through.

At the senior level, there is deep reserve of proven talent wanting either new challenges or new beginnings as all look to 2022 with new hopes. Arguably for too long, senior appointments have not been personal enough. Leadership is testing enough at the best of times. In this period, it has been draining and created real concerns and doubts amongst many. It is natural that many want someone they can turn to and talk to, share ideas and find new solutions.

Great talent can adapt to new sectors, new roles, new cultures, and new challenges. Too often companies seek more of the same but diversity of talent is as important as diversity of mind-set. This most recent period has shown how so few, however, proven, have the answers when storms come. Teams are important as collaboration can be the basis of finding answers. For too long, companies have focused on proven expertise rather than teams which can work as one.
