Placing Hospitality at the heart of the Community.

Round Table is a project designed to ensure everyone gets a seat at the table. It has at its core the ability to rejuvenate communities, fill vacant restaurant spaces, train and develop local hospitality industry talent and help support the vulnerable whilst also providing a vibrant restaurant space serving seasonal and delicious food.

Rachel Edwards, founder of Round Table Restaurants is an award-winning and international artistic director as well as the founder of the Tooting Arts Club. Her passion for community, hospitality, and the arts have culminated in her vision for creating positive change through this groundbreaking project.

The innovative charitable model combines a free or pay what you can, daytime community restaurant for those affected by food poverty and insecurity with opportunities for training and education, funded by a traditional paid restaurant service in the evening.

With community, inclusivity, and great food and drink at its heart, Round Table provides a more equitable model for both restaurant dining and charitable fundraising.

The hospitality industry's skill shortage is not going to be alleviated overnight but with initiatives like Round Table Restaurants, the industry has the ability to rejuvenate the high street, access untapped and local talent as well as develop their skills through the training and support offered. Communities too can continue to thrive through the provision of much-needed support, opportunities for development, and truly building back better in ways that really do make a positive impact on so many levels.

A great initiative to get behind. Please get in touch for more information.
