On 22nd May, we have 22 industry players walking at different locations all across the country. The Great Post-Lockdown Walk in support of The Leader’s Journey. Come and Join.
On the 22nd May, we are delighted that so many are offering to do the challenging walks all across the country from Scotland down to the Cotswolds, London and on the South Coast. There is a number joining Chris Sheppardson on the Northumberland Coast to walk from Alnwick Castle up to the Bamburgh Castle but understandably, in these challenging times, many want to stay local. A number have volunteered their families and friends.
Our thanks to all in the support of our aim to create a framework that allows emerging and young talent to be able to access the learnings of leaders from all across society and across cultures. We are delighted to have close to 100 leaders who are open to knowledge down to schools, students and young talent. Little can be of more importance as we rebuild.
Our overall aim is to create a sustainable structure that will allow young talent continuous access to feel they can learn from leaders like never before
It is exciting to see so many open to give their time, and their knowledge to others. This period can mark a fresh start where we can found fresh pillars to make sure that we do enable the young to have a great chance to find trust, feel empowered and supported in their quest to build careers.
Our overall aim is to create a sustainable structure that will allow young talent continuous access to feel they can learn from leaders like never before.
It is important to note that this is not just about hospitality but all sectors, all industries. We are delighted to have leaders open to be a mentor and tell their story from the worlds of business, law, accountancy, hospitality, the military, education and sport.
To achieve this, we are working on an App to hopefully launch in the early Summer which carries the stories of great people from across all sectors. We want to create free access to people’s stories so that knowledge and inspiration is open and then that there is accessible access to mentors, coaches as well as lectures and events for a cost.
Our aim is to make this a tool which has both global learnings but also has global reach as knowledge is knowledge from whichever part of the world one comes.
We are excited by the idea of creating a framework that really allows the lessons of great leaders and mentors to be accessible to young talent as our view is a growth mind-set is so important for the future.
2021 is the year maybe where we understand that continuous learning and growth mind-sets are right at the heart of future success.
