Leadership Reset - An Interview with Bob Cotton OBE on the challenges of leadership at this time

This period of time has become almost full of clichés which often hide the depth of changes going on. There are many leaders who openly admit that this period of time has changed their thinking, that they have learnt much and been challenged in ways not experienced before. Many also agree that there is a need to see talent more enabled and given greater opportunities than existed pre pandemic.

Energy and vision are needed in these darkest of times.

EP was therefore delighted to talk to Bob Cotton OBE, former CEO of the BHA and an advisor to Government, as to his perspective on how leaders have been tested during this period and the changes which will come to the fore as we move into 2021. Many say that this is a time for a reset in how companies do lead; does Bob agree that this needed and what can be learnt from the crisis?
