Introducing Kontentigo
Last Saturday evening, we were delighted to partner in the launch of a new members club founded to bring people together through a celebration of great food and the cultural arts. In these strangest and most difficult of times, it is important to enjoy the most simple yet important of pleasures.
Fred Plotkin had guests fully engaged throughout the evening with his stories on the history of Italy. He spoke with natural ease as he talked of Italian opera, food and travel. He was expertly supported by two opera singers who had guests enthralled.
We have a full programme of some exceptional events coming together which include an Indian Dinner that tells the story of Calcutta along with poetry and dancing from the region, a historical lecture of the life of Thomas Cromwell, an evening talking Dali and musical recitals. These events are all designed to engage and create a basis for learning and gaining knowledge plus meeting new friends.
