CH&Co Group and Concerto Group MergeIn the increasingly competitive events industry CH&Co and Concerto Group have merged to offer a unique proposition. Clients will now have a one-stop shop to meet all event requirements - venue finding, booking, catering, production and entertainment.The merger brings opportunity for both in conferences centres, large-scale arenas and also in the hotel sector. Some of the singers were well-known pros and the fund-raiser is in aid of Singing for Syrians, helping to get medical aid to victims of war.

Crista Cullen MBE and Elephant Conservation Gala Dinner – May 2018EP are delighted to host a Black Tie Gala Dinner in May 2018 to support the work of Crista Cullen MBE on Elephant Conservation.Crista was one of the GB Women’s Gold Medal Winning Olympic Hockey Team in Rio. She also won Bronze in London 2012. Her life and work today has turned towards elephant conservation and this is a cause that we are delighted to support. Find out more

Social Good of the Week

This week Beyond Food, situated at Brigade, hosted a supper club with renowned chef Mark Hix. The unique social enterprise is owned by PwC, managed by BaxterStorey and delivers professional training programmes for adults who have experienced, or are at risk of, homelessness.The evening included a four-course dinner prepared by Mark Hix and was hosted by both Mark and Chef Founder Simon Boyle. At the Brigade practical skills training takes place and inspirational programmes include one-to-one personal support.Simon introduced two of the chef team who both spoke of their positive experiences of being involved. One was a single mother who couldn't find work due to her parenting needs and the other was a former solider who suffered from Post-traumatic stress.Beyond Food also recently won the Education, Training and Jobs Social Enterprise of the Year Award at the UK Social Enterprise Awards - the annual celebration of Social Enterprise UK.  Click here to find out more.
