Ian Dutton's 'Village Inn' wins two international awardsThe Village Inn has won ‘Best Bar and Grill 2017’ and the award for ‘Excellence in European Cuisine 2017’ at the ‘Restaurant and Bar Awards’ hosted by LUX Magazine.  The awards explore and honour establishments of all sizes on an international level, with each winner awarded purely on the basis of nominations and reviews made by clients, peers and industry professionals.   The Village Inn has been under Ian’s expert guidance since 2011 and is located moments from the shores of Lake Windermere.  Open every day, the Village Inn has become renowned for its superb range of freshly prepared dishes – sourced locally, extensive bar and family feel.  Menus are changed regularly, with homemade pasta dishes and creations from the grill, particular specialities.   “We are thrilled to have won these two international awards and delighted to shine a light on the Lake District and local area,” said Ian.  “We strive at the Village Inn (and indeed all our venues) to provide the quality of product and level of customer service that we have become renowned for and are extremely pleased that these efforts have been recognised.  Most importantly, the fact that these awards have been voted for, largely by our customers and members of the public, means a great deal.”
