An evening with Yasmin Khan – Food creates greater understanding of different cultures

At Barings London offices, we were delighted to co-host a dinner at which the food author and broadcaster Yasmin Khan spoke on the growing importance of food in bringing people together and creating a common bond. It is inclusive. It is something that plays a genuinely important role in our lives today.

There is a growing demand for such dinners as they do help companies create informal social interaction and build stronger cultures and understanding through good experiences.

Barings has been a great supporter of this initiative and one can easily see from the video just how popular and effective it has become with their own teams. They strongly believe in the role of food in supporting inclusion & diversity and the dinners do send out a positive message of intent within the company. Already there is a demand for the next event.
