A fantastic evening was had by all at Lambeth Palace this week. Brian Turner, one of Britain’s most well-known chefs, took part in an exclusive evening with the Royal Academy of Culinary Arts to support Adopt a School Trust Charity.  Over £8000 was raised for the charity in an evening which saw a live auction, silent auction and popular raffle take place. EP takes great pride in bringing together a community in hospitality - who wants to celebrate and support the great work taking place. Our thanks goes to all those involved. Below is a collection of images from the entertaining evening.   Brian told fascinating and humorous stories from his hugely successful career - from his upbringing in Yorkshire and becoming a chef through to opening the kitchens at The Capital Hotel, working on television and shared his views on the industry today.   EP was delighted to host such an important event for a good cause and would like to thank Food Show for their delicious menu, The Sporting Wine Club for providing excellence wines, Badiani for their handcrafted Italian gelato, Lambeth Palace and their beautiful surroundings, the Royal Academy of Culinary Arts, Brian Turner for his fascinating stories and superb auctioning skills and of course, all of the 100 guests who dug deep and supported the event.   Children from Rhyl Primary School kindly helped with the canapés on the night and sung a beautiful song before dinner. It was a special moment which showcased the true meaning behind the excellent evening.   Adopt a School is a national charity that teaches children about good and cookery. They reach over 20,000 children each year and deliver fun lessons with professional chefs - who are all members of the Royal Academy of Culinary Arts.
